HI Aaron
in my case I’m also using CF-compliant netCDF and haven’t needed to make world
files. Geoserver creates dot files as part of imagemosaic creation, which I
have not inspected closely (index data? I should go and look).

I’ll take a look - it may be that I’ve missed an out-of-memory kill and should
check more generic system logs.
But first I’ll try this:

Hi all
I’m attempting to create a very large imagemosaic in Geoserver 2.10.2.
The process goes like:
1. add the MODIS sinusoidal projection
(http://spatialreference.org/ref/sr-org/6974/geoserver/) to user_projections
and netcdf_projections
2. use CreateIndexer.jar
(http://geoserver.geo-soluti

Thanks Daniele - delayed also here due to work ‘stuff’.
I just got to setting up a new instance of geoserver (master/latest, deployed
from the nightly war file) for testing. it showed the same errors as my 2.10
attempt - until I removed the GDAL plugin.
So far the imagemosaic part is working no
Hiya
Could you please post a sample WMS request? Or a link to a GetCapabilities
response?
Maybe there’s something scrambled in the request, or the desired CRS(es) are
not enabled for your layers.
Thanks

Hi Daniele, apologies for the delay!
Some more info - as well as Java 1.8 and Centos 7, I’m running on tomcat 7.
The (hopefully) relevant part of a more verbose log is shown below.
I wonder if i need to go install the imageo-ext stuff

Hi all - new user question alert!
What is the geoserver 2.10 way of creating imagemosaics?
The documentation here:

Hi all
Is there any movement toward supporting ‘point data’ in netCDF format for
geoserver? The current netCDF plugin treats data as a raster source, but we are
also looking at using netCDF to store ungridded point data.
Just an off the top of my head question, since I just hit a little concept

Hi all
I’ve just moved a data directory for a geoserver 2.7.0 install, as follows:
stop tomcat
rsync -av /path/to/geoserver/data /path/to/new/place/
…constructing ' /path/to/new/place/data’, with the tree still owned by tomcat.
…then I added '/path/to/new/place/data’ to the GEOSERVER_DATA_DIR
Hi all
I have a similar (I think) issue I’d like to solve. Like Ben, I have netCDF
files with bands, and in each band are timeslices. Here’s an openDAP look
inside a sample file:
