[Geoserver-users] SLD: Number of ColorMapEntry-Tags

Hello! I do have a problem with the number of ColorMapEntry-Tags in the SLD for a GeoTiff datasource. The GeoServer Doc says: "There is no limit on the amount of entries that can be contained in a (lines 4-13)." But every time i use more than about 255 entries, i get the following Java error:
