Hi Guys
I have just installed geoserver 2.2rc1 and I am unable to get a geotiff out the
wms server when i ask for them reprojected.
I have the troublesome file publicly available - the instances (in client
format) are below.
I have tried it with and without geowebcache (deleting the cache and
Hi Guys
We have noticed many 'common' queries to our WFS, including some very common
filter queries (As HTTP GET) to our WFS's when we run training sessions. Some
of these queries are costly (15seconds) and some are nightmare-ish-ly costly
(14 mins) for some of the more complex app schema filte

you an email - you can make a event handler do all sorts of crazy: like remote

but its up to you.

Hi Guys
I recently downloaded a nightly build of Geoserver, and loaded up my old
configs. I was a bit stuck on how to 'turn on' various components via the web
interface
It looked like the workspace now has independent controls over the services it
offers.
It also looked like you could per-work
Thanks Ben,
It turns out I was distracted by eye-candy on the geoserver webpage.
I will update my build.

Hi Guys
I was wondering how I would detect (as a service) that an instance of geoserver
supported WFS 2.0? (not test, but detect...)
I am running

My error entirely.
The underlying data was not in EPSG:3112 but EPSG:4283, I removed the spatial

This time, geoserver detected the same bounding box for both computed and
lat/long, the layer now works in geowebcache/wms too.

Hi guys
I have some data in postgis, and I am using a nightly snapshot and I can't seem
to get geowebcache to allow me to seed the layer.
I have two tables, one works fine, the other is unusable - and I cant get it to
compute the lat/long bounds properly either.
No obvious errors loading the d
Hi Guys
I have 'war dumped' (ie - no configuration) a 2.1.2 (stable) and a trunk
snapshot on the one machine, [geoserver.war and geoserver-trunk.war], and I am
having issues with geowebcache (GWC) forcing one instance to stop.
By default - nothing is setup, and the GWC is picking up the other g
Common practice it to proxy your JEE application instances out via your load
balancer or web server.
You can either use direct HTTP or AJP protocols. In house our preference was to
use AJP.
An apache based example is here:

Hi Guys
I have been using 2.1-b1 and the restconfig plugin, and wanted to update to
RC2 but I am unable to see the rest config plugin.
Has this been merged? Or is it not available in RC2?

This may not be a geoserver question.
I have 2 geological maps 1:1M and 1:50k (big scale difference, detail overload
at the wrong zoom, which is why we have both.) They are served out as WMS
layers. Is there a way to provide seamless transitions between them and serve
them as a single layer?

Hi All
This is a tomcat6 question - but someone else may know...
I am currently experiencing the different XY behaviour (WFS 1.1, 1.0 behave
differently by default) in a vanilla geoserver 2.0.2.
I dont want to set the system property like
