Is there any plan to fix this?

Hi,
Is there a simple method (i.e. without adding extra WPS functions) to get the
min/max values and/or the histogram of a given raster (e.g. geotiff) band, by
using the standard services of the GeoServer?
Mani Thanks,

Hi Andrea,
You’re right, this is what I was afraid of...
At this stage I think all one could do is adding one or more white spaces as
prefix to the string of the Label, in order to simulate a positive DeltaX.
Nevertheless, such a workaround wouldn’t generate fixed values for the

Hi Peter,
Nope, separating Graphic and Label elements in 2 different rules would of
course handle well the relative displacement but wouldn’t manage the labels
overlapping.
The labels overlapping is the main reason of using both Graphic and Label in

Hi,
Color variable substitution works only when there is ONE SINGLE RULE in the
SLD; when the SLD contains 2 or more rules, the variable substitution is broken
and default color values are always used.
It is reproducible on any raster layer in GeoServer 2.8.3/2.9.0.

Hi All,
Is it currently possible to get a WMS Raster Legend (e.g. for Temperatures),

Try with "transparent=true" instead "tranparent=true" (there is a missing "s"),
it works well I've just tried.

Can Geoserver generate WMS maps in grayscale from 3-bands (RGB) geotiff layer?
Geoserver generates well color tiles from this geotiff by using the default

grayscale maps?
I know GDAL_CALC van transform 3-band RGB

Hi all,
I have a layer based on an Image Mosaic JDBC store on GeoServerV2.7.
Raster (satellite images, GeoTIFF) are dynamically tiled/loaded in PostGIS with

I tried to follow the manual “Mastering GeoServer” in order to serve raster

I was able to create a store of type ImageMosaicJDBC on GeoServer from PostGIS
