I have GeoServer 2.1.2 running locally on my PC and I am unable to set the
Watermark URL for a gif file that is located in the GeoServer's data directory.
I have set the watermark url in previous versions so I think I am doing it
right. However I noticed this was a bug affecting 2.1.0

Has anyone had success setting the watermark to a local file in GeoServer 2.1.2?
I have set the Watermark URL to logo.gif and the image is located in the
.../geoserver/data directory. But when I click submit, I receive an error:
Could not find file: lo
I'm getting this as well.
I've checked my data directory by going to the Status screen;
Data directory /mnt/input/GeoServerData
My file is /mnt/input/GeoServerData/watermark.png
I add 'watermark.png' as the watermark URL and it says file not found. :-/

ah, it accepted /mnt/input/GeoServerData/watermark.png. So an absolute path
works, a relative path didn't.
