Dear all, The GeoServer developers are considering to move the project from Java 5 to Java 6. If this happens, it will apply to GeoServer version 2.2.0, meaning your web container will have to run on JDK 6 in order to get GeoServer 2.2.0 working.
The current stable series, 2.1.x, will retain Java 5 as the minimum requirement instead. We're running a poll to get your feedback on the move. Please visit the poll site and cast your vote. You can leave a comment there too if you like: http://www.micropoll.com/a/mpview/1076733-423614 Cheers Andrea -- ------------------------------------------------------- Ing.
