I think VPF failed QA pretty hard a couple months ago and I kicked it out
of the supported category.
Let me check my records... yeah it made the notes for the GeoServer 2.4

User Manual. It looks like the link from the User Manual is wrong and it
needs to be updated.

Does geoserver still support VPF format? I am using Geoserver 2.5. When I
