you are right!
the problem was the cascaded server (by the way it is a Geowebcache instance
that caches a commercial wms server by Intergraph). Geowebcache was keeping
open the connections after Geoserver requests. I solved the problem playing
with the configuration of the applications server h
well finally I found the problem
the xml result of the GetCapabilities request was containing a char that was
wrongly coded as UTF-8 (this char :"รจ")
I manager to change this on the WMS server i was trying to do "Castading" and
everything worked as always like a charm
