I also just realized that some other simple apps i have in the same
Tomcat instance, which mostly make queries to postgres, are also not

Also I believe our saved geo_data_dir is corrupted so there is turning
back. Some of the logs lead me to believe there is gwc problem. Can i
just yank these directories?

Hi,
In moving from 2.9 to 2.13 (tomcat8) our instance started fine with the
default data dir, but when I point it to our existing data dir geoerver
does not run (NOT FOUND 404). I have included just a bit of the the
Tomcat logs below, the first part from shutdown, then some from
startup.
