(1) Could this conversion cause the misinterpretation of an ISO 8601
basic format date string like "20161216" as a timestamp in milliseconds
since the Unix-epoch in UTC (if you follow the converter for Long and
pass it to the Date(long) constructor)?
(2) Should we be choosing millisecond
The GeoTools 16.1 release is scheduled for Sunday, December 18. I plan to
be actually doing the release on the 19th, so please ensure any changes are
in before than.
If you have a bugfix on master that should be included in 16.1, please
backport it to the 16.x branch before the 19th.
