Hi, there is a PR in the queue where a method has been deprecated, here: https://github.com/geotools/geotools/pull/3516 I don't see a valid reason to deprecate it, and voiced that concern, but no further changes happened. At the same time, I'm not feeling strongly about the deprecation, can live
