I know it has been a while, but I have finally brought the (unsupported) VPF
library back to stability in the 2.5.x branch. I would like to update the VPF
plugin page (http://docs.codehaus.org/display/GEOTOOLS/VPF+Plugin) to indicate
this progress, but I don't appear to have access to edit the p
bar is relatively low, I should be able to fix
things over the next month or two. If you are really only interested in
libraries that aim to reach full supported (4 star) status, you might as
well kill it because it isn't going to happen, at least by me.
Please let me know what is needed so
what branch should I be making these changes? If my
commit rights still work, I will be happy to make the changes.

finished output, but I do not like using it as an editor because of its
nasty habit of reformatting the white space, screwing up the version
