I noticed that in the GeoTools upsupported module list, there is a
Geometry project.
May I ask what the idea of this project is, and what the current status is?

have spatial indexes, but Justin worked a layer on top of it
to provide such features. It won't be fast over large data sets and
all spatial operations will be performed in memory anyways, but it
should get you all the SQL coverage you need?

Jesse if we can find a home for this work in GeoTools my preference
would be to combine forces with Pieter here.
