Let us talk about it in the meeting; it would be good to have a maven
site and if the verifier is a good tool to help us in that direction it
is worth keeping.

An alternative is to completly remove the verifier if peoples wish. I added it

Okay verifier is making a strong argument for putting fixed version
numbers on a few things; starting with our build directory.
