Yep - you caught me at my volunteer work.
I am starting to make the User Guide FeatureType / Feature /
FeatureCollection documentation in order to capture the state of play as
we transition to GeoAPI feature stuff. It also helps me get my head on
straight so I am useful when Justin asks me ques

Actually, you missed one set of docs which has yet another different
aim---the user manual that catered to the newbie. However, jody's user
guide is getting *much* better. The sections start out as a brain dump
from jody and evolve towards something much more readable/usable.
