Fair enough - the bigger picture is setting up geotools for the next 10 years. I
view the current codebase as a proof of concept. I now want to make it a
pleasure and joy to use.
Some of that is easy, fix the feature model. Some of it is hard - future proof
Filter (even to allow for the two versions in use right now).
