- do you have a custom JAI installed? Like a daily buid...
- do you have native jai installed?

I can confirm the build failure on trunk with both (Java 5 and 6 both 32bit),
2.6.x is still building fine.

At the same time I don't see the build failure on Hudson, so
it might be a JDK 64bit issue.
