Dear all,

I trust the end of the term is being kind to you. It's been crazy to me!

I want to ask if any of you have references to scholarly literature on ENGO mobilization failure. Much of the earlier work I did looked at ENGO mobilization, but for the most part, the work I have read (and written) has described success stories (to a certain extent).

I've gone through Paul Wapner's, Michele Betsill and Elisabeth Corell's work (including their recent NGO diplomacy edited collection), Peter Newell's earlier work, . A thorough Google Scholar search does not yield specific cases of ENGO failure (though that might be a case of me not using the good search keyword combination). The work of Annemarie Clark and Elizabeth Friedman along with Kathy Hochstetler's has shown the limitations of global civil society, but I'm looking more for specific journal articles that analyze specific cases of ENGO failure.

Any and all help would be most appreciated. I've been researching this topic for a while and I only came to GEP-ED as a last resort, after exhausting other resources.

Yours always,

Raul
