new colleague, acquired a prestigious European Research Council 
(ERC)<https://www.linkedin.com/feed/> consolidator project last year, entitled 
'Politics of the Periphery in Urban Latin America: Reconceptualising Politics 
from the Margins (POPULAR)<https://www.wur.nl/en/show/popular.htm>'.  He is now 
looking for candidates for three PhD positions to work on cases in Medellin 
Colombia, Recife Brazil and Santiago de Cuba in Cuba. Deadline: 15 January 2024.
