I have also had this before as well. I think it might depend on how the download fails. It seems that sometimes GiP is getting the message that the download is complete even though it obviously isn't. Maybe if the CDN hasn't sent any error messages during the download, GiP assumes it's complete

Thank you for your response. But when I've had failures before - usually through lost packets or the downloading stalling - even if I've deleted the partials in advance - GiP has always refused to re-download a pid due to an entry in the History File from the failed attempt. My solution to this

Hi Chris, The History file gets updated after GiP determines the download has fully completed (the same time as it removes .partial from the filename). If a download stalls and fails it won't be added to the History file. As the files you had to delete were still .partial files, GiP knew they
