Actually, I pulled Quacks a couple of days back using --pid-recursive
successfully, except for Ep. 2 which stubbornly refused to download.
After I updated GiP
I’m really not sure but I always do a refresh-future (it’s in my options file)
basically because it helps the web pvr manager work more logically (in my
opinion).

Seconded.
Hi
Has anyone else noticed that --refresh-future seems no longer to work in
v2.95?
This, in conjunction with the PVR, has been, IMO, another one of the great
features of GIP.

The package name is get-iplayer with a hyphen

Thank you - Mea culpa - I hadn't realised that I had a partial file due to
cron sneakily doing the download when the system rebooted. So I hadn't got the
usual email on completion & thereore tried it manually.

Yes - I've been using it this way for years.

Hi,
I routinely use the excellent PVR Manager to set up the download of a series
but for some reason it seems unable to find "Revolting People" even though it
is in the cache :
$ grep -i revolting radio.cache
12319|radio|Revolting People: Series 1|b007jrqj|Unknown|Storm Clouds|1||
default|
