GiP no "progress" indicator

I'm using 3.00 on Linux Mint updated via PPA this morning as 3.00-1 and the 0.51 GUI front end by Robbie Smith. Downloads working fine except the download progress bar doesn't change! Anybody know why this might be? Paul Convery
