The initial cache refresh was very quick on my HP Microserver and I throttle
get_iplayer downloads because of the pathetic download speeds I get here in

With a 1TB hdd costing about £50, a simple solution would be to upgrade. I
wish my problem was as simple as upgrading HDD but with a download speed of
less than 3MB/s, I weep when people report download speeds of 20-100+ MB/s.

The only minor issue I have found is when initially starting, I found that
some programmes I knew should be available didn't appear. The solution is
simply to refresh the cache (this is automatically refreshed every hour by
default).
