I was thinking of a feature proposal. Once you have placed a guide on the
canvas, if you wish to know its exact position you should have a snapping tool
and watch carefully on the status bar for the right value, isn't it? I don't
see any other quick solution on this.
What I was thinking about is
is it possible that the only tool that will make screenshots including the
mouse pointer is kscreenshot, while the GIMP can't???

I'm currently investigating how does xvidcap work for single frame acquisition.

no way... it uses just a common pointer placed into the acquired canvas.

I've synched yesterday and I still get the same problems, I'll start reporting
them here, because I'm not sure if I should open a bug report.
1 issue) If I use the color curves on a newly opened image, and modify all the
curves (value, and rgb) when I press ok, I get a segfault.

thanks, I'm avoiding it by now.
About the second issue on the tool opacity, I'm digging what is causing this:
it's really hard, usually I find it after few step, but too late already.

Hi all. I'm writing here to ask just a thing: actually the image windows is
*under* the other dialogs (toolbar and layers/etc). Will it be possible to
control this behaviour? or -even better- to set the behaviour per dialog?
Sorry if I missed some options, but actually I'm adapting my workflow on

Hello all,
I'm using the latest svn version of The GIMP and since 2.7 branch I'm
facing a problem within XFCE4 DE I'm using. What happens is that when I have
one or several images opened and I switch to a different workspace/desktop the
toolbox and all other panels (layers, infobox, etc)
