Hi,
Today (after a week or so break) this new dependency, gtk-encode-symbolic-svg
was needed for the Git version.
My google foo has failed me and would like to know where this dependency is to
be found.
There doesn't appear to be any reference to it in the docs.
TIA
it into the prefix I use for gimp.
Just where is your appstream-glib.pc ?
You might have to alter your share/config.site if you use that, or your search
path.

When I attempt to close an image via the tab, there is a hint which says;
"Press Ctrl+D to discard all changes and close the image"
This duplicates the image as per the shortcuts list.
app/display/gimpdisplayshell-close.c might be relevant.
FW
n his mouth that are in SVG format.
If you look in the source (docs) you will find the wilber construction kit as
well as an svg. Been there forever

It's 0.5.2 but I just read the INSTALL and saw it needed to be compiled with;
--enable-libwebpmux and --enabl
wonder if anyone can give me a clue as to getting the webp plug-in built.
TIA

Thanks, that did the trick.
I built into /usr/local and I can now open webp format images.
The path in this debian based system includes /usr/local/bin.

I noticed in the latest git a lot of stuff which suggests that gimp should open
webp, and export to webp.
Is this correct, and if so how do you activate it. Currently I get "Unknown
file type" on opening, and webp is not in the list of export formats.
ust built, according to the splash screen, commit c94e87e no
problems.
have you tried a git clean -xdf and rebuild?

After you built Mypaint, you should have had a libmypaint-gegl.pc which n
Your attachment didn't come through, mailing list policy I presume.

I am not at my home machine but you need a glib library, glib-json or something
like that.
I git cleaned and made clean in both the gegl and gimp directoried, ran
autogen.sh and got a build error of the missing library.

No, gimp doesn't have stitching.
Use huggin if your are on linux. Krita has a plug in that uses huggin
and in my view easier to use.

There maybe other gotchas, but come back and ask if you have problems,
probably best on the gimp users list, not this one. Also you can try
