Well, trying to get use to doing layers, again...
is it possible to take a RGB color image,
and select a Layer:> New Adjustment Layer ( name it Channel Mixer )?
Then Select that Layer Channel Mixer, and work with it,
to adjust R/G/B and to select monchrome, with output channel Gray?
Thanks-
Rick

Hi!
Just a little report:
ftp://ftp.tuniv.szczecin.pl/pub/Linux/gimp/
The latest available gimp version is v1.1
I think this ftp server not mirroring the gimp source correctly. It
should be removing the mirroring list OR contact the right ftp-admin.

Hi all!
I'd like to know if anybody have a list of analogs
tools between these two softwares. It would be very
helpful to have it in my webpage to help who wants to
move from photoshop to the Gimp.
Cheers!

For all consumer digital cameras I'm aware of, you'll be caputring in
color; the camera will be running an algorithm to convert to

In 2.0, you should use the rectangular selection tool with a
constrained aspect ratio to frame your image, and then crop to
the selection. In 2.2, you do not need to do this, since you may
