Does anyone know how to wrap text around a curve (eg ellipse) so that the
whole text is curved?
The only way I've found to do it is to move each letter individually and
align them by eye.
There should be an easier & more accurate way of doing it, but I can't
find one.

I'm a relatively new user with Gimp. I need to include text on an image
that is curved - eg, is displayed in a circular fashion. I'm sure this
is a fairly straightforward operation with a tool as powerful as Gimp

hmmm dunno if youre looking to just place the letters around the image or
actually curve them... anyway came up with his using the gimps text tool and
the curve bend filter if this is what you are looking for lemme know and ill
go more into depth on it if you need.
