Hi! I'm running Gimp 1.2.3 on both Linux and Windows NT. It works GREAT on BOTH platforms! I've been learning how to do stuff from a friend who is a big PhotoShop user and he often tells me I should save the JPEGs of photos I touch up at a resolution of 72 dpi. When I first installed the Gimp, I was asked which screen resolution to use and I chose "acquire from current display" (or whatever that option is). Since then, I have NOT been able to find where I can control the dpi setting when saving images.
In PhotoShop, it gives you a place to specify the dpi to use when saving a file. Does this same, or similar, function exist in Gimp?
Thanks in advance for your time.
Peace.....
Tom
