I can't select any brushes when trying to paint from gfig. Gfig itself
doesn't give me any options (which doesn't seem to be the way it's
supposed to work according to the manual). I also try selecting a brush
from gimp's main brush selection dialog, but gfig ignores whatever I
select and choose
I've this image which I have chopped into little pieces on each their transparrent

My GIMP was installed with the RPM shipped with RedHat 6.0. It refuses
to open GIF-files.
Is this a known problem? Can somebody tell me what to do about it?
