on which cards is the gamma option supported in XFree86 (3.3 or 4)?
i could not find this on the xfree86 site, only a refernce to that
option in the man page for XF86Config.

I'm trying the ported Version of gimp in win98 with a Deskjet695C printer.
Two friends of mine the same but with Canon printers. We all have the same
problem:
if I use /file/print the print is - how shall I say - instead of a
b/w fotografy there are a few small black patches on the Paper
