Forgive me if this is a daft question but.. I'm a GIMP newbie but have used stuff like PSP and photoshop. My understanding was that plugins were precompiled and placed into some 'plugin directory' that way it gets loaded dynamically. Surely this mechanism is in Gimp? -Lea. Darren Enns w

Seems like I just _can't_ get the latest GIMP RPM to work! I've installed new GTK/GLIB rpms (devel + standard) and created .so.1 links to the .so libs (GIMP looks for .so.1) and I get the following error: gimp: error in loading shared libraries: gimp: undefined symbol: gtk_accelerator_table_set
