Looks like you're using Microsoft Windows. (Windows 8? Vista? I can't tell)

I'm no Gimp expert and am having more trouble (than usual) installing gap 2.6.0,
locating it and deciphering all the 'script/plug-in this' or 'shell command
that'.
Heres the tech info:
Gimp version: GIMP 2.8.10
gap version: gimp-gap-2.6.0
gap originally download in this format; gimp-gap-2.6.0.tar

Sorry this took so long, was trying to figure a way to reduce the size of the
image without being able to use GIMP, so I just did an arbitrary crop of one of
the images in question. Attached is one image

I've downloaded your attached file, and it opens with no problems (quickly)
in Partha's 2.8.10 portable build (Win7 64bit).
Also, to strip all the metadata using exiftool:
exiftool -all= FILE.jpg
I suggest you test this first on a backup copy of your image (and mind the
blank space after the "="
It opens quickly on windows 8 using gimp 2.8.10. I tried both File ->
Open and the drag and drop method. The first was a bit faster opening.
You can delete a lot of exif data from windows explorer. right click on
the file, select properties and then the details tab.

Dear Gnome,
I downloaded Fx Foundry, but do not know how to open it in Windows Media
Center. If someone can give me detailed instructions how to open it. I

GIMP sounds like just the program I am looking for since my Power PC graphics
software will not run on my new Mac Mini which is running OS X 10.9.2.
However, I have not been able to download the software. Each time I try, the
file in the downloads folder has an X on it. As a side note, I am enco
You'll need to extract the contents of the archive into your scripts

Well, maybe that was the case. The Partha 64-bit DL seemed to do the trick, as I
am able to open all files in question. Thank you all for your help!!

Seriously? The OP is using a Mac and you are directing him to a Windows
download? :)
