It did indeed properly upgrade 2.82 on my 3b2itWin8.1 PC.
On my 3b2itWin7 PC however, while the install finished, the program
crashes on Startup (w/a Windows msg that the program "has stopped working"
so it will close program). I tried re-downloading the installer, same
issue.

Attempting to set up 2.10 to be able to export CYMK images and I downloaded
Adobe CMYK profile but "Separate" is not appearing in the Image drop down in
Gimp 2.10. Hoping someone can help me. Thanks.

BIMP is a plug-in developed by Alessandro Francesconi who is not a direct part
of the GIMP team to my knowledge. There is already a ticket posted on BIMP’s
official Github repository about the incompatibility

People from the Debian-user mailing list helped me to solve this one:
"ldd /usr/bin/gimp"" showed that a rogue library of libbabl in /usr/local/
was loaded. Removing that and gimp 2.10

Not writing this out again,
When I start Gimp 2.10, I get around 100 error messages. Does this mean that I
need to delete all of the files it is showing the errors for? Thanks.

Gimp 2.10 gives me no options to save or export in any other file type except
xhtml, ora and xcf. I need to save my image in png or at least jpeg/jpg.
I don't know anything about this file type--.ora, but I tried saving in Open
