Hi I have an Image that that I need to change can you please assist me in doing
so.
1) I have to give it a spring theme, so the autumn brown red background
needs to change to a more green lively color.
2) Secondly ALL the write writing beneath the image and the smaller images

I used the color exchange feature to change all the black pictures to a blue
selection (0, 90, 180), and the color that was produced in the final image is a
slightly lighter color (you can see on the image below). When I use the fuzzy
select/fill tools, it comes out fine. What is wrong?
This is all very well, but in my experience the Sharpen filter and Unsharp Mask
filter gave different results, and sometimes I preferred the effect of one or
the other, so I'm puzzled why the option was removed. What is the benefit
supposed to be?

On Windows 10, uninstalled 2.8.18, and reinstalled 2.10.6, however, the SWAP &
Temporary folders, in Edit-Properties->Folders, do not appear to be honored.
Set the Temporary folder to F:\tmp and Swap folder to F:\swp, restarted GIMP,
and PC...
however, no matter what, GIMP still goes to either:
