OK, glad to see I am not the only one…
I didn't know it was such a common problem, nor that it would require such
extreme measures as using scribus to print a simple image file…
I like scribus a lot, that's a good idea indeed !
Thanks a lot !

Thanks for the forum explanation and the links !
Maybe you could send me a copy of your devicerc file ?
This way i might be able to force GIMP to use the wheel ?
So far I've been able to add a value to the wheel line (6 instead of rien),
but no changes...

. I've mapped it to rotation
of a flat brush to be sure.

control that the wacom driver reads the wheel value alright in the
control panel diagnose area...
I will try to install an ubuntu somewhere to see what it is like under Linux.

Well, why not, but since this info might help someone else on the forum, I

. The
brush works, but they act as one, having the same tools etc. I cannot have
pencil on the grip pen and airbrush on the airbrush for instance...
Can you ?
PS: I use win 7 and the Wacom Control panel makes the distinction alright.

OK, thanks a lot ! I've got almost all my questions answered now !
Last one would be : why can't i use the wheel on my airbrush... but that's a
different subject !

It is rotation sensitive, unlike the grip or airbrush pens.

It's used for this one too.
Your link does not work for me, but I know the Art Pen. I'm using it
with the Wheel parameter.
OK, thanks Olivier, that's great news !

About the same here...
GIMP won't differentiate my grip pen and my airbrush, nor their eraser ends...
(Win7 64)
And the airbrush isn't even listed as input possibilty...
