I went to Sourceforge and tried to download GIMP twice and chrome would not
allow the download because of MALWARE.
I don't know of any other way to contact anyone at GIMP. So I will try and
use this site.

The sad thing about Windows bashing

So while layers may be of use while working, I see no point in wasting
disk-space saving them.

camera-produced .jpeg, rotate, crop and rescale it, and ne
to assign Ctrl-S to File => Overwrite...
