alternative. It is "comp.graphics.apps.gimp" news group. Not familiar with
news groups? If you use Thunderbird, the newsgroup reader is built in. A

I see that the plan is to go to yet another web based mess. I don't care for
the idea of having to have an ID and PW to ask a question. Please at least
consider guest accounts, or re-think the whole idea. There really must be a
better way.

I plan to take some pictures of some Christmas poinsettias with pine branches
around the pot and think the picture would be better if there were white (warm)
LED lights in the picture. The problem is that the string needs to be fairly
