The commit graph file format describes an optional 'Large Edge List' chunk, and the function writing out this chunk is called write_graph_chunk_large_edges(). Then there are two functions in 'commit-graph.c', namely write_graph_chunk_data() and write_commit_graph(), which have a local variable
