`/tmp/_dc~~~/` is not a directory Geany or Grany-plugins uses, and nor is
`FilelistXX.lst`.
Close _all_ plugins and try again.

Thanks, but I think that this bug had already disappeared. The last Geany I
have is a 1.38 arm64 built on 19 déc 2021 and I think that it didn't have the
bug. Since then I have stopped using Geany, so I won't be able to tell you if
it still happens sometimes at a lesser frequency than before, bu
Geany startup process always opens the file of the opened files from
/tmp/_dc~~~/
If it is left in this state when closing, then next open process will have two
files opened from /tmp/_dc~~~/ and so on.
The Filelist.lst contains the list of file names that were open on tabs when
Geany was close
Reopened #18.

Hmm, I just tried the latest builds and this bug is back, reopening :-(.
It would be worth investigating what exactly Scintilla does with the
autocompletion popup and if there isn't any workaround.

Geany 1.38 built with the latest GTK and other dependencies, including some
