2. Until a Haskell program can call a DLL it can't be a true Windows
citizen.

This is more a problem with the required tool set than with GHC itself, but
I cannot separate them.
I must apologise for sending several messages on this topic, but I am
trying very hard to make GHC work on my system without any success (and so
far the only reply I have had pointed me to the .HOW
Has anybody actually managed to make the GHC distribution work on a "Unix
virgin" Win32 system following the instructions? If so, could you please
tell me what I'm doing wrong?
The CygWin32 distribution does not include GREP, so running configure has
