I think, the only thing we can do is wait for GHC developers support of gcc2.95.

I can confirm that I still get a segmentation fault when I run it. So it looks like
we are stuck with gcc2.7.2. Is there anything that can be done about this?
Hmmm. On my machine, at least my own programs compile fine with ghc-4.04 and
gcc-2.95. I didn't yet try to recompile ghc-4.04, however.
FYI: it's a K6-II running linux-2.2.10 with glibc-2.1.1.
