I'm happy to help out with whatever I can do to help the porting effort. I've got a brand new MacBook and I'm not afraid to use it (though I'm still learning how to). What needs to be done?

There is no reason why GHC on Intel Mac should be hard. We have GHC on
both Intel hardware and Mac OS.

All that is needed is someone to spearhead the porting exercise. Indeed
it looks as if Wolfgang might have it in progress
