That's probably wrong. If you're doing a proper reboot, the services
should be stopped before shutting down, which will do all the proper
handshaking for shutting down a tcp connection. This allows the client
to avoid the ping-timeout.
Hi All,
I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on this?
Cheers,

I am hoping someone can give me some direction on this. I have been searching
and trying various tweaks all day. I am trying to setup a two-node cluster with
a replicated volume. Each node has a brick under /export, and a local mount
using glusterfs under /mnt.

No takers? Seems like quota is working but when I see permission denied

accurate. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi John,
I tried but with rpm it installed but the glusterd service cannot
startup
[root@cpu06 ~]# gluster --version
glusterfs 3.5.3 built on Nov 13 2014 11:07:17
Repository revision: git://git.gluster.com/glusterfs.git
Copyright (c) 2006-2011 Gluster Inc.
Hi Punit,
The documentation is very poor about this and I had to experiment to
find out which RPMs are required. In my case I installed the following:
glusterfs-3.5.3-1.el7.x86_64.rpm
glusterfs-api-3.5.3-1.el7.x86_64.rpm
glusterfs-cli-3.5.3-1.el7.x86_64.rpm
I don't see any issue with ssh command here. Geo-rep will use this
command as prefix and adds additional parameters while running.
Please let us know the Current status and any errors in log
files(/var/log/glusterfs/geo-replication/MASTERVOL_SLAVEHOST_SLAVEVOL/)

Gluster: RAID G

sounds nicer as complete rebrand to RAISE though.
I'm also throwing in support to drop the FS as we do a lot more than files.
