We had seen a similar issue and Rajesh has provided a detailed explanation
on why at [1]. I'd suggest you to not to change glusterd.vol but execute
"gluster volume set transport.address-family inet" to allow
Gluster to listen on IPv4 by default.

Hi Deepak,
Ultimately, you're the only one who can know whether it works for your
exact workload or not. We recommend benchmarking your own workload.
That said, in general, if you avoid large numbers of small files, and
your hardware and network are sized appropriately, you should get good

Folks,
Wanted to get some inputs on the type of GlusterFS Volume is best suited for

Hello,
I'd recommend reading about CTDB Registry based configuration, and how it works.
For any clustered CTDB setup where you can use it, it will likely make your
life easier.
I recommend Googling on it, and reading the smb.conf, and ctdb man pages. I
think that should make things clearer.

Hello Gluster-Community,
are there any Meetups or Conferences planned in 2017? Maybe in Europe? I meet
the Gluster-Team at FOSDEM a few days ago and I am interested in more
specialized meetings.

Hello,
while working with a Puppet Module for GlusterFS
(https://github.com/voxpupuli/puppet-gluster) I've noticed that the
location of the Debian/Apt rsa.pub Key differs in some versions.
Example:

Good morning guys,
we are going to deploy a new production infrastructure.
in order to share some folders through our app servers (Tomcat 8), I wan to
create a GlusterFS storage area.
I made some tests in localhost (using some VMs), but at the moment only
with Apache2.
My configuration is a mir

Setting these options does seem to increase transfer speeds on small files

Hello,
I'm trying to get a ctdb cluster running on top of a new glusterfs deployment
and I'm having difficulty - as a smb novice - understanding how it all fits in
together.
Most documents I've found online about the subject just stop after "yum install
samba ctdb". My questions specifically (l
