Hi, using Gluster 9.2 on debian 11 I'm trying to set up geo replication. I am following this guide: https://docs.gluster.org/en/main/Administrator-Guide/Geo-Replication/#password-less-ssh I have a volume called "ansible" which is only a small volume and seemed like an ideal test case.

[Gluster-users] file shred

Hi, if we were to use shred to delete a file on a gluster volume, will the correct blocks be overwritten on the bricks? (still using Gluster 3.6.3 as have been too cautious to upgrade a mission critical live system). Cheers, Kingsley. ___

I found that when I tested, the amount of space reported was dependant on the free space on the smallest brick. How much free space do you have on your bricks? Cheers, Kingsley. On Mon, 2014-11-03 at 07:58 -0500, craig w wrote: Using gluster 3.5.2, I created a volume and started it. On a

BTW, I have an rsync log from both servers if it's of interest (command args called, duration of execution and exit code), so let me know if you want this. I meant to remove the attached logs from my previous email once I'd supplied the links, oops :-/ -- Cheers, Kingsley.
