Not sure I follow the question. By "running on a brick" do you mean that
I have a single storage server which exports /data to number of clients.
Is it ok to access the data on the storage server directly (ie not via
glusterfs mount) ?
(I know this causes problems when there are multiple servers ).
This would simplify some configurations.

Anyone know if there is a problem using nx on glusterfs ?
I have just remounted the users filesystem as glusterfs.
It appears that NX does not work anymore.

I tried installing a xen disk image to glusterfs : version 3.0.4.
Transport tcp (Gbit).
Glusterfs works fine with other applications. Iozone reports 110Mbytes/s

I copied and existing xen disk image to glusterfs as root.

Is ib-sdp still supported on 3.0.2 (eg for use in solaris environment) ?
If so do we compile for tcp socket or is there a special configure option ?
Thanks,

Just some experiments with 3.0.2. Using Gluster doc instruction source
compiles fine to 32 bit
binaries/libraries (64 bit x86 server).
Performance issues when Server is 64 bit x86 osol-0906 /ZFS fs and

1 server. + 1 Linux client works at wire speed (> 100Mbytes/s).
Currently we are using fuse-2.7.4glfs11 .
Does glusterfs 3+ work with fuse 2.8.1 libraries ?
