The folder is labelled "bin" on the left (ie. under inbox and all the
others), though, when I click into it. the search bar says "in: trash".
Either way, it's the trash folder where unwanted emails go, usually deleted
by me or by my filter settings (though not in the case of these emails)

Thanks very much, Andy. There's an email program that came with Windows 8,
on the start page. I don't access my email via that, though. I access them
through my browser. The mails must've sent alright, as I just received
another reply to a binned one.

Hi guys,
I sent about 15 similar/identical mails to 15 separate recipients. I
received some replies. Most of the 15 sent mails, however, are in my
bin/trash, not my sent mail folder, I noticed a couple of days later.
Are duplicate mails automatically sent to trash even if they're all to
differ
