[Gmail-Users] Attachments

Every time I send an email with an attachment gmail automatically sends a copy of the message addressed to "me" into my inbox. I do not have any filters in place. Can anyone suggest how I can prevent this? Thank you. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups

The file name of an attached file is the one it had when it was attached to the message to be sent. If you attached a file "myfile.txt" to an email, or to several emails, that is the name it (or they) will have. The name sticks with the message to which it is attached. Gmail doesn't change it.
