It was happening to me just now.. I had to do the Cap Locks and
Insert at the same time to turn it off

Thank you for this thread and solutions - I have windows 7, Google chrome
browser, use a PC but an APPLE keyboard. Did not find the solution anywhere
but this thread helped
For me I felt that getting rid of the highlight was the solution so that is
what i tried to do
After trying everything
I had the problem this am. Thanks for the answers, although they didn't
work for me. What did work for me however, was the Windows key+Alt to
remove the highlighting.
