But it is not accessed from 'Tools', so the question remains. If you get
to this spell checker from 'Tools', it is not Gmail's spell checker.

Where exactly is 'tools' of which you speak? Spell check is a function of
your browser, not of Gmail and you have not mentioned what browser you are
using.

Spell checker (button option in "tools") fails to work, recieve following
pop up;
"*Unable to process the spelling request, please check back later."*
This issue began about 3 weeks ago. Tried deleting spell check option in
tools, selected again but to avail.
